The East LA Walkouts is that they had people and groups who supported the East LA Walkouts. They also had various people who contributed to this movement which helped the Walkouts get the hispanic the victory of what they wanted which was equal educational rights. The two main groups that helped the Walkouts was the Brown Berets, and the United Mexican American Students (UMAS).
